How measuring works
What the numbers mean
Locate
Your address becomes a place on the map, and we pin the building at it.
Measure the roof
High-resolution aerial imagery gives the sloped surface of every roof plane, its pitch and the way it faces.
Size the walls
For a house wash, the building outline times the stories you tell us. Always shown as a range.
How sure is it?
- Estimate from aerial imageryHigh or medium confidence, depending on the image quality for your street.
- Calculated rangeOur arithmetic. Shown as a range, never a single number.
- Needs your confirmationSomething looks off, like the building sitting far from the address pin.
What it can't do
- Trees can hide the edge of a roof, and a detached garage or shed may be missed.
- New builds and some condos don't have usable aerial imagery yet.
- Aerial imagery can be a few years old. The date is shown with every scan.
- It's an estimate, not a survey. You can correct it, and your quote is based on what Fernando confirms with you.

What neighbors say
Fernando did an excellent job and is most knowledgeable. He pressure washed my 2 story roofs and stucco. I will certainly use him again. He came highly recommended and I recommend him without hesitation.

Fernando did a great job washing our house. We're near the ocean, so our place was pretty dirty. He and an employee have all the equip. needed: ladders, high power hoses/nozzles, purified water, cleaning solutions for different surfaces (stucco, glass, wood, metal). They didn't need to enter the house and did it while I was gone. He provides "before & after" photos of everything on his site. He even did the sidewalk in front of the house and our hedge (which was dusty). I have 2 neighbors who had theirs done too, so we got a volume discount. Highly recommend his services.

Had the pleasure of working with Fernando the other day. I texted Fernando and he replied back immediately. He was very friendly and professional. I told him I wanted him to clean the windows on my house, and he was very flexible with my schedule and able to accommodate my needs. He arrived early within a few days, and he got to work as soon as he arrived at my house. Most other window cleaning professionals I've dealt with come over with a bucket and squeegee to clean my windows. Fernando used a soft water system and brush attachment and scrubbed the exterior windows. He cleaned the screens, inside/outside windows and was finished in less than an hour. The payment was very simple and straight forward. I was very satisfied with his work ethic and was interested in him giving me a quote on cleaning the roof and solar panels. I highly recommend Fernando if you're looking for a dependable and hardworking man.

Questions
Why is my roof bigger than my home's square footage?
The number on Zillow or Redfin is the living space inside the home. The roof covers more: it overhangs the walls at the eaves, it covers the garage and covered patios, and because it's sloped it has more surface than the floor under it. A steeper roof means a bigger difference.
What does roof cleaning remove?
Black streaks, moss and algae on tile, shingle and flat roofs. Steep roofs get a safety check before anyone works on them.
Is the quote free?
Yes. Free estimates, and no payment details are needed to get a quote.
How exact is the measurement?
It's an estimate from aerial imagery, not a survey. You can correct it right here, and your quote is based on what Fernando confirms with you.
